Nestled high in the East Foothills of San Jose, California Glenmar Ranch rests on 20 acres of land that offers an incredible view of the valley below. The ranch was purchased in 1951 by Glen and Martha Kelley. It is now owned and managed by Penny Kelley, the youngest of 5 children raised on the ranch.

Once a working ranch for cattle, walnuts and oat hay, the ranch is now used primarily as a home for rescued horses and a center for others to learn more about living with and caring for horses, as well as, experiencing the emotional gifts that horses have to offer people.

Penny’s expertise in this field, her remarkable relationship with horses and her capacity to share information with others offers each participant an unexpected learning experience and a broader perspective of the benefits found within the equine community.
