Cancellation Policy

It is mandatory to read and follow the notification instructions.

If you do not follow these instructions, you may incur a session / training fee penalty or lose your payment in full.

Notification:

Alchemy Academy must receive your REQUEST TO CANCEL by email–five (5) business days prior–to the day of your scheduled session / training.

  • The date on your email will be recognized as the receipt date
  • A phone call and or message left at the Alchemy Academy office phone number will not be considered notification, unless accompanied by an email sent to Alchemy Academy at info@alchemyacademy.com
  • All rescheduling requests must be in written form i.e. by email

Confirmation of Receipt:

Upon receipt of your five (5) business day email notification to cancel - Alchemy Academy will

  • respond by email, a confirmation of receipt, within one (1) business day

Cancellation Refund Policy

When a Request To Reschedule email is received within five (5) business days of the scheduled session / training

  • Sessions
    • client will not be charged a penalty fee
    • the client’s payment will be returned in full, within ten (10) business days from the notification receipt date.
  • Trainings
    • client will not be charged a penalty fee
    • client agrees that any monies paid, in advance, by Alchemy Academy for the following will be reimbursed, in full, to Alchemy Academy by said client within three (3) business days of cancellation notification date.
      1. prep training presentation
      2. phone
      3. travel and accommodations
      4. mailing and shipping
      5. printing
      6. sub-contracting fees
      7. logistic site reservation fees
      8. any costs directly related to the confirmed training presentation
    • Alchemy Academy agrees to return the balance of any pre-payment received by client minus all up-front costs prepaid by Alchemy Academy that are directly related to said confirm training date.

When a Request To Reschedule email is not received within five (5) business days of the scheduled session / training

  • Session
    • 50% of the client’s prepaid fee will be withheld in default.
    • the remaining 50% of the original session prepaid fee, from said client to Alchemy Academy, will be mailed to client (using the U.S. Postal service) within ten (10) business days of the receipt date reflected on the client’s original Request To Cancel email notification.
    • if client has not prepaid for the confirmed session date, client agrees to pay to Alchemy Academy the penalty of 50% of the agreed session fee.
    • client agrees to mail to Alchemy Academy said penalty fee, by money order, post-marked by the U.S. Postal office within ten (10) business days of the confirmed session date.
    • when Alchemy Academy does not receive the balance due from client within ten (10) business days of confirmed scheduled session date – client understands that Alchemy Academy will seek legal restitution for any outstanding fees due. Client agrees to pay, in full, any legal fees incurred while seeking said restitution.
  • Trainings
    • training will be considered in default and in breech of contract agreement
    • 50% of the agreed training fees, along with any prepaid costs of training by Alchemy Academy, will be paid by client as a cancellation fee.
    • client agrees to mail cancellation fee to Alchemy Academy, post-marked by U. S. Postal, within ten (10) business days of confirmed training date.
    • if 100% of the training fee has been paid up-front by the client, 50% of the pre-paid training fee – minus any prepaid costs for said training by Alchemy Academy – will be mailed to client (using the U.S. Postal service) within ten (10) business days of the receipt date reflected on the client’s original Request To Cancel email notification.
    • when Alchemy Academy does not receive the balance due from client within ten (10) business days of confirmed scheduled training date – client understands that Alchemy Academy will seek legal restitution for any outstanding fees due. Client agrees to pay, in full, any legal fees incurred while seeking said restitution.

When Alchemy Academy receives no written notification from client regarding the cancellation of a confirmed scheduled session / training

  • Session
    • said confirmed session will be considered in default
    • client agrees that there is no refund due to said client from any payment(s) made to Alchemy Academy regarding said confirmed session date
    • if there is an outstanding balance due to Alchemy Academy – client agrees to pay Alchemy Academy said remaining balance within ten (10) business days of confirmed scheduled session date.
    • if Alchemy Academy does not receive balance due from client within ten (10) business days of original scheduled session date – client understands that Alchemy Academy will seek legal restitution for any outstanding fees due. Client agrees to pay, in full, any legal fees incurred while seeking said restitution.
  • Training
    • said confirmed training will be considered in default
    • client agrees that there is no refund due to said client from any payment(s) made to Alchemy Academy regarding said confirmed training date
    • if there is an outstanding balance due to Alchemy Academy – client agrees to pay Alchemy Academy said remaining balance and any prepaid training preparation costs incurred by Alchemy Academy, within ten (10) business days of confirmed scheduled training date.
    • if Alchemy Academy does not receive balance due from client within ten (10) business days of original scheduled training date – client understands that Alchemy Academy will seek legal restitution for any outstanding fees due. Client agrees to pay, in full, any legal fees incurred while seeking said restitution.
